The Story

The Challenge

In Nigeria, a nation of over 200 million people, the informal service sector is fragmented. For many, finding a reliable plumber or painter is a game of chance, often resulting in “disastrous” service delivery from unvetted providers. Conversely, talented professional artisans struggle with inconsistent income due to a lack of visibility. QuikFix was born to bridge this gap, creating a professional B2C ecosystem where quality meets demand.

The Strategy: Research First

The project didn’t start with a canvas, but with a deep dive into the market. By analyzing the pain points of both homeowners (the clients) and skilled workers (the artisans), I identified that trust was the primary currency. The platform needed to feel authoritative yet accessible, ensuring that a user feels safe inviting an artisan into their home.

Technical Execution: Built for Scale

To bring the vision to life, I utilized Webflow for development. This choice was strategic:

User Experience: The platform offers a seamless transition from browsing categories to booking a professional, reducing friction in the customer journey.

Scalability: As the artisan database grows from dozens to thousands, the infrastructure remains robust.

Performance: Webflow’s ability to deliver high-speed, SEO-friendly code ensures that QuikFix ranks well when users are searching for urgent services.
